Sweat Memorial Baptist Church offers a variety of ministries for men & women. Our ministries include adults of all ages and incorporates a variety of Bible Study groups, meetings & events throughout the year.

Adult Choir

Adult choir practice is at 5:00pm on Sunday evenings. No audition is required! See James Perry for more information on joining the choir. This choir is for ages youth and above!

 

 

Ladies Fellowship

The ladies’ fellowship meets monthly on the second Thursday of the month at 11:00 am in the fellowship hall. All ladies are invited! We will have a brief devotional, missionary study, meeting and then enjoy lunch together.

 

Sunday School

Traditional Sunday morning Sunday School classes are temporarily on hold until services completely resume to a more traditional schedule.

 

 

Sunday Evening Bible Study

Sunday Night Live is our Sunday evening small group Bible study time offered on campus at SMBC. Doors open at 6pm for a time of fellowship and light refreshments. Bible study beings at 6:45 in various locations around the church and is divided by age groups. The group leader and bible study rotate throughout the year and this study is open to all adults.

The Sunday evening Children’s Ministry, Station 226 will meet from 6:30-7:30 during adult Bible study time.

The Youth group meets each Sunday evening from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm for a time of fun, games, fellowship, snacks, worship and Bible study time.

 

 

Wednesday Evening Prayer Meeting

On Wednesday evenings at 6:30, prayer meeting is held in the sanctuary. The pastor offers announcements, prayer requests and teaches a short bible message.

 

 

Joymakers Senior Adults

Joymakers is the senior adult ministry open to all members and guests 50 years old and above. The Joymakers take trips throughout the year and meets once a month for a lunch fellowship immediately following the morning worship service.
